Dr. Yasmine Hasnaoui is a Moroccan scholar and professor specializing in Moroccan Sahara, North African affairs, international relations, and conflict resolution.She lived in the United Stated and Kuwait where she was professor at Amherst College, Massachussetts and the American University in Kuwait.She is now Professor at Hassan 1st University, a Research Fellow at the Council for Mediterranean Diplomacy. She serves on the Board of IPSA Research Committee 07 on Women and Politics in the Global South. A Fulbright alumna, she holds a PhD in Human Sciences, an MA in Communication Studies and Media, and a BA in English Literature. Her expertise includes Maghreb geopolitics, diplomacy, Moroccan Sahara conflict, and US-Maghreb relations.
